Biography

Cathy is a former Channel Four News presenter and BBC and GMTV Europe correspondent.

Cathy Smith is a highly experienced conference moderator with joint Belgian/British nationality.  With many years of live television experience, the switch to virtual and hybrid events has been an easy one.

Based in Brussels and working all over Europe (Covid allowing), Cathy has extensive knowledge of EU affairs and moderates conferences and events on a huge array of subjects including health, climate change, sustainability, agriculture, industry, technology and more.

Recent clients include European Commission, Eurocontrol, EIB, UNDP, EFPIA, Pfizer, Merck Serono, ACEA and many, many more.
