Biography
Bringing a unique ability to draw stories from the figures, Ronan Lyons is one of the world’s leading experts on the future housing and our increasingly urban way of life. His aim to cut out the complexity and show how we can make our housing markets and cities work for us.
Ronan Lyons is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Trinity College Dublin and works with the IMF, advising countries around the world on their housing markets.
He is one of Ireland’s most prominent economic commentators and is author both of the quarterly Daft.ie reports and a weekly column on housing in the Sunday Independent.
Each year, Ronan talks to thousands of people at numerous different events and organisations. Recent talks include Arthur Cox, Department of Jobs, Dublin Chamber of Commerce, First Citizen, ICS Mortgages, Maples Calder, Society of Chartered Surveyors, and Tilman Brewin.
